Redline SU-I Indoor Subscriber Unit
Redline's RedMAX Subscriber Unit - Indoor (SU-I) delivers reliable, cost-effective, high-bandwidth wireless connectivity for fixed and nomadic access applications. As a leader in WiMAX Forum Certified products, the Redline RedMAX SU-I ensures seamless interoperability with emerging IEEE 802.16-2004 compatible point-to-multipoint (PMP) equipment.
SU-I at a glance
- 200 MHz operation in 3.3–3.5; 3.4–3.6; 3.6–3.8 GHz and 3.65–3.7 GHz FCC/IC RF bands
- 802.16-2004-compliant
- Subscriber self-installation
- Low latency
- Intel PRO/Wireless
- LED signal strength indicators for easy antenna alignment
- High gain integrated antenna
- 24 dBm Max Tx Power
- Dynamic QoS settings
- SNMP Manageable
Operating in several radio frequency bands, Redline's third-generation, orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing (OFDM), non-line-of-sight (NLOS) technology overcomes typical urban obstacles such as trees and buildings. Its sophisticated communications techniques, including advanced Forward Error Correction (FEC), deliver wireline equivalent high availability.
The RedMAX SU-I is easy and economical to deploy. Telecom service providers can quickly provision new service offerings with bandwidth comparable to or greater than xDSL or cable modems. Simple subscriber self-installation and an integrated antenna with signal strength LEDs and Power over Ethernet (PoE) technology makes installation and setup quick and easy for enterprise and residential users alike. The small, lightweight, easy-to-install RedMAX SU-I is also ideal for nomadic applications.
WiMAX-based compatibility, high performance, and ease of installation make the RedMAX SU-I the best choice for delivering broadband wireless services to business and residential access markets cost effectively.
