Extremely noisy. Doesn't appear to vary the fan speed in response to temperature, seems to be simply on or off based on a temperature threshold. The worst problem however is that the fans don't seem to direct the exhaust air directly up, out of the unit, so for a top-of-rack mounted unit where there is a small gap between the top position in the rack and the rack's roof means that the warm exhaust air is not efficiently vented out of the rack, it just circulates within the rack - which is pretty much useless; if anything the rack temperature actually increases with this fan unit running!
