I've already give a 5/5 review on 4Gon here http://goo.gl/vBu1B but this is about the M2. I've used Ubiquity M2 devices in the past for various links but I bough this one, and the wall bracket, for a link of 4.3Km (2.6miles).
The M2 was wall mounted at about 4m and the wall bracket is very suitable for the job and only required 2 small holes for mounting part of the bracket to the wall with screws while the second part attaches to the M2 and to the first bracket using M10 bolts. This means when aligning the wall mounted part is under little stress.

Setting up the M2 was simple as usual and using the built in AirView scanning utility found most channels were clear and chose the best one possible. Other settings such as LAN, WLAN, web interface port number and security were easilly setup, the M2 has a great web interface - the only comment is when changing a setting there is button at the bottom for 'Change' which then displays a ribbon at the top where you click apply, I don't understand the need for both - maybe the top one is a global apply but it is unclear.

The other end of the link is 4.3Km away, where we run a ham radio contest on Tuesday nights from. We use a 2nd M2 and it is mounted at about 3m . With everything set for UK regulations we have an RSSI of -83dBm at both ends and easily getting 10Mb+ over them.

The M2 is a simple product to install, configure and align. I've used a pair of them for various links and 4.3Km is about average.

Well recommended - worth mentioning though is where there is congestion on the 2.4GHz (using an M2) band you may wish to look at the M3 (3.3GHz) or M5 (5.7GHz) products where are all the same except their operating frequency.
