New design + lower cost is excellent. Only down side is ceiling mounting if mounting / screwing direct into ceiling (not suspended) on previous mounting brackets you knew where to mount as the bracket had a whole for the cable to pass through the mounting plate, new mounting plate is small circular plate cable does not pass through this, you need to make a template to be correct as if not done precise the AP does not turn on the brakets and lock into place correclty. maybe they could include a template not all installation are on suspended ceilings
